EXPLORE GRAND CANYON FROM THE SKY

One of the most unique ways to experience Grand Canyon and its great abyss is by flying over it.
Flights are offered daily, and visitors can choose from a fixed-wing airplane tour over the Grand Canyon or a helicopter tour.
All scenic air tours of Grand Canyon are based outside of Grand Canyon National Park.
The most popular helicopter tours and scenic airplane tours originate and start just south of Grand Canyon's South Rim, at the airport in Tusayan, AZ. Scenic flight tours are also available starting in Las Vegas, Phoenix and other cities in the greater Grand Canyon region.
The approximate cost for a 50-minute helicopter tour is about about $190-200 per adult. Shorter helicopter tours (25-30 minutes) run about $135 per adult. Prices may vary depending on what helicopter tour company used. Some helicopter tour companies include Grand Canyon Helicopters, Papillion Grand Canyon Helicopters or Maverick Helicopter Tours.
The approximate cost for an airplane tour over the Grand Canyon ranges from $95 per adult for a 50-minute flight, or $154 per adult for a 4-hour, interpretive air tour. These originate at the airport in Tusayan, just south of Grand Canyon's South Rim. Other scenic airplane flights are available out of Las Vegas, Phoenix, etc. Some companies that offer airplane tours of the Grand Canyon include Grand Canyon Airlines, Scenic Airlines, Westwind Air Tours or Air Grand Canyon.
