Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport

3400 E Sky Harbor Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85034

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, dubbed as America's Friendliest Airport, is the main airport serving the Greater Phoenix area. It serves more than 40 million passengers a year, and goes to more than 100 domestic and international destinations, making it one of the 10 busiest airports in the nation. With about 1,200 daily flights - about 500 nonstop - Sky Harbor is one of the most convenient airports.

Sky Harbor is the only airport in the country with hubs for two major low-fare carriers (US Airways and Southwest Airlines), which is one of the reasons its average round-trip airfare has been below the national average for the past 13 years.

Sky Harbor is approximately 230-miles to the Grand Canyon Village at the South Rim. Plan for a 3 1/2 hour drive from the airport.

The airport is the largest operating base for Allegiant Air and Southwest Airlines. In February 2012, McCarran also became a crew and maintenance base for Spirit Airlines.

McCarran is approximately 275-miles to the Grand Canyon Village at the South Rim. Plan for a 4 hour drive from the airport.

Salt Lake City International Airport

(801) 575-2400
776 N Terminal Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84122

Salt Lake City International Airport is a civil-military airport about 4 miles west of Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. It is the fourth largest port for Delta Air Lines, as well as a hub for Delta Connection carrier SkyWest Airlines and with nearly 300 daily departures. Following Delta and Delta Connection, the largest carriers are Southwest Airlines, United Airlines and United Express, US Airways and US Airways Express, and American Airlines and American Eagle.

Salt Lake City International is approximately 550 miles to the Grand Canyon Village at the South Rim. Plan for a 9 hour drive from the airport. It is approximately 350 miles from the Grand Canyon's North Rim. Plan for a 6 hour drive from the airport.
