Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Grand Canyon National Park

Take an electric road trip to the heart of the Southwest.

The classic all-American road trip isn’t complete without a stop at the Grand Canyon. Electric vehicle (EV) owners don’t have to miss out on one of the natural wonders of the world. There are charging stations on the North Rim, South Rim and in the gateway town of Tusayan to keep you charged and ready to explore.

Grand Canyon Village

Location: Maswik Lodge, Grand Canyon Auto Services, Yavapai Lodge

Charger Types: J-1772

What to do while you wait: Hop on one of the park’s free shuttles to explore all the best of the South Rim (48 Hour Itinerary LINK). The three-mile, round-trip hike down Bright Angel Trail to 1.5-Mile Resthouse will give you a taste of the inner canyon or opt to stay on the rim by renting a bike from Bright Angel Bicycles and riding Hermit Road. Check out our 48-hour itinerary for more ideas.

NEMA 14-50 outlets are also available at El Tovar Hotel and Trailer Village RV Park
