The Grand Canyon may be the Seventh Wonder of the Natural World, but there's a whole other world of wonders waiting to be explored nearby. Take the road less traveled and drive to three not-to-be-missed destinations you can enjoy while you're in the area.

Lake Powell

Arizona's vibrant Lake Powell is the ultimate aquatic playground for families. With more shoreline than the entire west coast, it's the second largest man-made lake in the country. Here, you can float your cares away exploring 96 major canyons aboard rental houseboats and personal watercraft. In the evenings, camp, tell tales, and eat s'mores.

2. Bearizona - Williams

Witness herd and pack life from the safety and comfort of your private vehicle as you view majestic bison, nimble bighorn sheep, stealthy Arctic wolves and giant black bears. After the drive-through portion, park and enter Fort Bearizona where you can walk through and see the antics of raptors, raccoons, river otters, and adorable bear cubs.
