Fly through the trees at Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course, Arizona’s only tree-top self-guided obstacle course. You’ll find it at Fort Tuthill County Park.
It’s nestled in a beautiful pine forest, so you can escape the heat in the summer in the shade while having a fantastic adventure minutes from downtown Flagstaff, Ariz. There are five adult courses ranging from easy to challenging. The routes are suspended anywhere from 15 to 80 feet high.
For kids ages 7-11, the yellow course in a separate area near the adult courses offers tons of fun without the exposure. It’s a super fun way for kids to safely learn how to navigate ropes and obstacles on their own as parents can watch from below.
Five Adventure Courses to Challenge You: Easy to Expert
With five adult courses ranging from easy to challenging, you can swing on ropes, scramble up walls and traverse wobbly bridges. Those who complete the final black course can buy a special black T-shirt for $19 to celebrate their feat.
Green: This is where you get comfortable with the equipment and the rhythm of moving through each element.
Silver: The cable ladders and swinging elements will really start to test you!
Blue: After defeating the Silver course, you will move on to the Blue course. Your agility is tested and sense of freedom in the trees is evident.
Red: As you are climbing higher into the trees, try not to let your emotions get the best of you. Balance comes into play when crossing wobbly bridges and swinging surprises.
Black: Now it’s time to test your limits mentally and physically!
