This detailed animation starts at Lees Ferry, a popular rafting launching spot, near the eastern end of the Grand Canyon. From there it travels as though flying west into the Colorado Plateau. You cruise past the national park areas on the South and North Rims, and into the western lava flow area with an ancient volcano. The journey ends at the Grand Wash Cliffs on the western edge.
